Cedarbrook Lodge, a quintessentially Northwest hideaway located on 18 acres with lush, restored wetlands is proud to announce Copperleaf Restaurant’s Culinary Adventures. Each season guests will be whisked away to destinations like Lummi and Whidbey Islands to meet the farmers, fishermen and artisans who passionately work with the Culinary Team of Copperleaf Restaurant to provide the highest-quality and freshest, locally harvested ingredients.
“The launch of the 2016 Culinary Adventures is an outward extension of the farm to table foundation that we've had in place at Copperleaf Restaurant since the very beginning," said Roy Breiman, Author and culinary director of Cedarbrook Lodge. "This series allows us to truly showcase our sourcing methods and relationships with the people that take so much pride in the ingredients we use to create our dishes."

Cedarbrook Lodge welcomes you to “Taste & Touch - A seasonal series for the senses,” which explores an authentic journey from farm to table to spa; guided by the intent to fulfill and nourish the whole body with a seamless alliance between the award-winning Copperleaf Restaurant and The Spa at Cedarbrook.
“Taste & Touch is the pinnacle of the farm-to-table, farm-to-face and locavore movements” said Copperleaf Restaurant’s Culinary Director Roy Breiman. “We’re blessed with an incredible natural bounty here in the Pacific Northwest and this series represents a lifetime of learning and a desire to see people fully immerse themselves in all things that nourish; both inside and out.”
Known for their creative spirits, both The Spa at Cedarbrook and Copperleaf Restaurant are bound by a mutual admiration for the gardens, fields and forests of the majestic Northwest, where innovative seasonal menus and restorative spa treatments coexist.
“The potency of fresh-picked natural ingredients is no secret, that’s why the healing properties from these same ingredients have been taken advantage of for hundreds of years,” said The Spa’s Director Joan Higdon. “Taste and Touch marries the senses to jointly experience the replenishing powers of our homegrown botanicals, juicy heirloom tomatoes, warming ginger root and spices of the holiday season.”
