Farm-to-table Seattle restaurant offers brunch and special lunch menu for Mother’s Day

SEATTLE – (April 18, 2013) – Give mom a well-deserved day off and treat her this Mother’s Day to a culinary experience she won’t soon forget. Seattle’s award-winning farm-to-table Copperleaf Restaurant & Bar is offering a plated four-course prix fixe Mother’s Day brunch and a Grand Buffet on Sunday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Guests seeking an intimate dining experience with mom can enjoy the culinary inspiration of Executive Chef Mark Bodinet with his specially prepared Mother’s Day Prix Fixe Lunch. The four-course tasting menu consists of Cauliflower Crème with white truffle, grilled bosc pears and miners lettuce; Olive Oil Roasted Beets with Mad Hatcher hen egg emulsion, roasted romaine, Victoria Island asparagus; guest’s choice of either Neah Bay Halibut with savoy cabbage, pacific rose apples, rye bread and salter caper vinaigrette or Snake River Farm Beef Ribeye with early season sweet peas, grilled carrots, spring onions and artichoke mustard; and Lemon Verbena Ice Cream with burnt marshmallow, pistachio custard and vanilla shortbread. The prix fixe lunch is $49.95 per person.

At the Mother’s Day Grand Brunch Buffet, guests can indulge with a selection of local savory eats and sweet treats while overlooking Cedarbrook Lodge’s lush, natural restored wetlands from Tamarack Hall. From classic favorites including eggs benedict, made-to-order omelets and all natural prime rib, to springtime dishes such as Toasted Orzo Pasta Salad with sweet peas, young carrots, fire-roasted peppers and basil pesto; Cedar Roasted Alaskan King Salmon with sweet garlic brioche and marinated fennel salad; and Young Vegetable Jardinière with roasted fingerling potatoes and garden herbs. The buffet is $52 for adults and $24.99 for children under 12.

In addition to the special Mother’s Day options, Copperleaf will have its regular a la carte seasonal dinner menu available in the dining room from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., as well as a lounge menu available all day.  Reservations for the Grand Buffet and Mother’s Day Prix Fixe Lunch are strongly encouraged and can be made by calling 206-214-4282 or online through OpenTable.
