SEATTLE – (February 21, 2012) - Cedarbrook Lodge, Seattle’s quintessentially northwest business and leisure hotel, announces the hiring of Brian Henry as associate director of sales.
Henry is responsible for prospecting, soliciting and confirming business at Cedarbrook from association, government and SMERF market segments, and to meet and exceed goals for rooms, food and beverage, and other hotel revenue centers. Additionally, his responsibilities include raising guest satisfaction and loyalty at the Seattle property, as well as assuming leadership roles in the absence of Cedarbrook’s director of sales.
“We’re confident that Brian’s many years of hospitality experience will be an asset to our sales team here at Cedarbrook,” said Scott Ostrander. “He has a great background in all facets of hospitality from food and beverage to meetings and corporate events, which will greatly benefit our clients and guests.”
Henry brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience, including Director of Sales for Seattle VIP (now Seattle Hospitality Worldwide) and sales positions at hotels including the opening of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. In addition to his hotel experience, Henry has served as a corporate meetings planner and executive chef.
In his spare time, Henry enjoys cooking, photography, sports and spending time with his daughters Alexa and Bailey.
