ANNOUNCES TWO NEW CULINARY PROGRAMS
Guests can now enjoy Fridays on the Farm and The Happy Hour
SEATTLE – (September 15, 2011) - Copperleaf Restaurant at Cedarbrook Lodge has announced two new programs for guests of the nationally-recognized restaurant to enjoy, Fridays on the Farm and The Happy Hour.
Fridays on the Farm grew out of Copperleaf Restaurant’s commitment to support small, regional farms, and its mission to offer premium farm-to-table fare. Each Friday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. guests can sample the bounty that Northwest growers and artisans have to offer, such as Samish Bay Cheese, while engaging in discussions about the farmstead products.
“It’s an honor to be able to showcase local farmers and take our guests on a figurative stroll through the fields to sample the premium ingredients featured in our menu,” said Roy Breiman, culinary director of Copperleaf Restaurant. “We offer this program complimentary to anyone interested in Northwest farming, and tasting an aire of culinary artistry.”
Also new at Copperleaf Restaurant, The Happy Hour will take place every Tuesday through Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., featuring handcrafted and uniquely seasonal small plates, local artisanal brews and regional varietals from the vine. Additionally, guests can delight their palates with Executive Chef Mark Bodinet’s whimsical and downright playful selections, such as Crispy Portabella Fries, Black Plum Glazed Pork Riblets, and Roasted Garlic and Prosciutto Flatbread, all available at enticing prices.
