Ring in the New Year and enjoy a quintessentially Northwest dining and lodging experience

Ring in the New Year at Cedarbrook Lodge

SEATTLE – (December 13, 2010) – Cedarbrook Lodge, a quintessentially Northwest hotel located on 18 acres of restored wetlands in Seattle, has the ideal New Year’s Eve package for those looking for a quiet, relaxing and memorable way to celebrate the beginning of 2011.

“This is a great way to welcome the New Year,” said Greg Bye, general manager at Cedarbrook. “From the special holiday menu to a bottle of champagne and comfy guest rooms, we’ve put together a wonderful package for this fun holiday.”

Copperleaf Restaurant will host a special New Year’s Eve dinner between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m., where guests will enjoy a five-course dinner prepared by Executive Chef Mark Bodinet. Complete with champagne, the New Years Eve menu features Northwest favorites including Spice Pumpkin Bisque with cinnamon crème and honey poached cranberries; Hand-cut Tagiettelle Pasta with black truffle and reggiano; Shriners Farm Fallow Venison with gingerbread, sugar pie pumpkin, brown butter chestnuts and cascade huckleberries; and Fromage Blanc Ice Cream with cinnamon streusel and caramelized pears.

Cedarbrook is a convenient ride on the Link light rail away from Seattle’s New Year’s festivities, but far from noise and congestion of Downtown. With complimentary shuttle service to the Seattle Link light rail station, guests can enjoy easy access to the city without the hassle of parking and traffic.

Each guest room is outfitted with signature Cedarbrook amenities including pristine views of the property, free WiFi Internet access, Green Natura bath products, terry-lined spa robes, 42″ TV and complimentary Northwest continental breakfast. Additionally, guests have 24-hour access to complimentary snacks including cheese sticks, ice cream, yogurt and malted milk balls from Cedarbrook’s living rooms.

The New Year’s Eve Package at Cedarbrook starts at $279, based on double occupancy. The New Year’s Eve Dinner is also available separate from the package for $75 for adults and $34.50 for children ages 5 and over. Optional wine pairings are available for an additional $30. Dinner seating times are between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m. and reservations are required.
