Airline ‘business’ class is all about premier service for its premier passengers, and it generally speaks to the ease of doing ‘business’ while on the road (or at least before, during and while you’re in the air). It’s certainly not coach! Airline business class is all about amenities, meals and beverages, entertainment and the arrival/departure experience.
Strictly speaking, one could say Cedarbrook Lodge is an airport hotel. After all, it’s located less than five minutes from SeaTac International Airport. But that might suggest staying at Cedarbrook is like traveling ‘coach.’ Not true. It is SO a hotel version of business class all the way. And here’s why:
Complimentary shuttle - Cedarbrook Lodge offers its own to and from the airport…according to your schedule, not a fixed one.
Grounds - Though less than five minutes from the airport, Cedarbrook is situated on 18 acres of lush natural restored wetlands. You’ll have no sense whatsoever you’re staying anywhere near an airport. Guests are continually amazed there is no airport or airplane noise. They say so often!
Design - The property and architecture are quintessentially Northwest. And they have floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere or outdoor patios from which to enjoy the surroundings all year ’round.
Living Rooms – Two 500-square foot living rooms serve as semi-private mini-lobbies or community gathering areas. Located on the second floor of each guest room building, these are places to informally mix, mingle, gather, relax and enjoy complimentary 24-hour refreshments during a hectic day’s activities. Among refreshment items available daily are bottled waters, individual yogurts, string cheese, individual servings of Haagen Daz in a variety of flavors and a variety of gourmet malted milk balls, a signature of Cedarbrook Lodge.
Custom bedding wrapped in luxury linens - A good night’s rest is a business class ‘must.’
Bath – Guests enjoy oversized soaking tub with shower wand and eco-friendly and gentle Green Natüra bath amenities, including bath beads.
Square feet of meeting space – A guest wouldn’t have to leave the grounds to satisfy group or social meeting needs or events up to 300.
Business center - Accessible 24 hours and located at the North end of the Reflections Gallery on the second floor of the main building (Big Cedar), it boasts work space for eight, terminals for six and delivers the capacity to print and shred documents. Complimentary.
Express checkout – You can bypass the Reception Desk on your escape to the airport!
Original artwork – Staying overnight at Cedarbrook is like visiting a mini-contemporary museum. Oh yes, there’s lots to view. Throughout the property. The art is for enjoyment as a guest goes to and from guest room and throughout the public areas.
Fitness Center – Located on the first floor of the Spruce building, Cedarbrook’s 24-hour Fitness Center features stunning views of the lodge grounds in addition to treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines, weight machines, free weights, benches, mats, balance balls, lockers and showers.
Meals and beverages
Cedarbrook’s Copperleaf Restaurant & Bar offers fresh farm-to-table cuisine as does Room Service for lunch and dinner. And the complimentary daily Northwest Continental Breakfast is sumptuous and scrumptious. Let go of any preconceived notions you have of airport hotel three-meal-a-day restaurants! Copperleaf Restaurant & Bar offers afternoon and evening libations. Dining anywhere at Cedarbrook Lodge is not your typical airport hotel experience. And it’s not fussy or pretentious either!
